Alvechurch Dog Park Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Alvechurch Dog Park – where play time is a priority but in a safe environment. When you book a session at Alvechurch Dog Park you agree to the terms and conditions of use. You will find the T&C’s below. Please make yourself familiar of all T*C’s before your session.
The Golden Rules
Sessions start on the hour or half hour – depending if you have booked a 55-minute session or a 25-minute session. Please leave swiftly after your session, anyone who overstays may be restricted and/or refused from using the park in future.
Please arrive no more than 2-3 minutes early before your session as this can be a distraction and/or stressful for reactive dogs that may be using the park. DO NOT let your dog loose in the car park. There are livestock in fields nearby. Remain in your car until the park becomes free. The car park is not to be used to walk your dog.
YOU MUST ENSURE THE PARK IS CLEAN BEFORE YOUR SESSION ENDS. FAILURE TO PICK UP DOG WASTE, TOYS OR RUBBISH WILL RESULT IN REFUSAL TO FUTURE USE. If you find dog waste from a previous user, please pick it up and let us know.
Please ensure all gates are closed AND locked after you. Leaving gates open or unlocked will result in banning from future use of the park.
The Very Important things
Use of the field at Alvechurch dog Park is entirely at your own risk. Alvechurch Dog Park or Alvechurch Dog Grooming Ltd accepts no liability for any death or any injury to any persons or dogs or for any damage to property or cars. Alvechurch Dog Grooming or Dog Park accepts no liability for any actions, claims, costs, damages, expenses or any other liability whilst onsite.
Alvechurch Dog Park will make every effort to ensure that the perimeter fence is secure and potential escape routes are kept to a minimum. It is your responsibility to ensure that your dog is secure within the field, and we cannot be held liable if your dog escapes. Please notify us immediately if you become aware of any vulnerabilities in the perimeter fence, or any other escape risks. You and your dog’s behaviour and actions are your sole responsibility and no claim can be made against Alvechurch dog Grooming ltd or Dog Park.
NEVER LEAVEDOGS UNATTENTED IN THE PARK OR IN YOUR CAR WHILST YOU WALK OTER DOGSIN THE FIELD.
Arriving and Departing
It is the responsibility of those using the field to allow sufficient time at the end of their session to get their dog/s on lead and off the field before the next client is due. Your dogs must be on a lead when entering the field and leaving, and not let off before the gate is securely closed. Dogs must NOT be loose in the car park at any time. If your dog has any behavioural issues with people/dogs, it is your responsibility to ensure they are under control and cannot cause harm to others. We cannot be held liable if dogs are out of control.
Dogs must remain in the owner’s vehicle until the previous users have left the field and have got their dogs into their vehicle. The car park is not to be used to walk your dog.
– All customers are to park in the car parking area in front of the secure field and not on the road. We will not be held responsible for any damage caused to your cars or possessions. Please park considerately to ensure that additional cars can fit and no gates are blocked. Please also ensure that you park considerately so that any vehicles can get past.
Please be aware that the public road can be busy and we cannot be held liable for any issues caused by the public or vehicles.
Please be vigilant as sometimes livestock is present in nearby fields. If your dog is reactive to livestock please ensure your dogs are under control and cannot try to escape. Please end your session if there are any issues to ensure the safety of all.
DUE TO PROXIMITY TO OUR RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBOURS, UNFORTUNATELY PERSISTENT BARKING CANNOT BE TOLERATED. OF COURSE WE UNDERSTAND THAT SOME BARKING IS TO BE EXPECTED, BUT PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU DO NOT ALLOW YOUR DOG TO BARK PERSISTENTLY. ANY FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THIS WILL RESULT IN YOU BEING BANNED FROM THE FIELD.
Children (under 18) are welcome on the field but must be supervised by an adult at all times.
PLEASE pick up your dog’s poo and put it in the bins by the gates or the bin located in the car park. It is not fair on anyone else using the field if you do not. If you are caught not picking up after your dog, you will be banned from all future use.
Please ensure you arrive on time as bookings cannot be extended if you arrive late.
If you need to cancel or amend a booking, please let us know as soon as possible so that the slot can be made available for others.
* Cancellations made with at least 48 hours notice will be refunded.
* Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will not be refunded.
Dog Park Do’s & Don’ts
It is the hirer’s responsibility to inspect the field/equipment prior to use, in order to ensure it is suitable for their dogs.
When using any toys or equipment, it is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure the equipment is suitable for their dog(s), paying particular attention to your dog(s) health and age limitations.
Owners must discourage their dog(s) from digging in the field. Any holes must be filled in by the owner prior to leaving the field. Failure to rectify any damage caused by your dog may result in a charge.
Please do not bring dogs with potentially contagious illnesses to the field. Bitches in season are allowed, but at your own risk. You are responsible for taking all necessary precautions with your bitch in season.

GATES WHILE OTHER USERS ARE IN THEM. SOME OF OUR USERS’ DOGS ARE NOT GOOD WITH STRANGERS AND MAY BITE. DO NOT LEAN OVER THE GATES TO TRY AND STROKE OR FUSS OTHER PEOPLE’S DOGS. NEITHER WE OR THE OWNERS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE IF YOU DO NOT HEED THIS AND GET BITTEN!!*
All the other bits
Payment is by the website or social media only.
Dogs are only allowed off lead within the allocated field and only once their slot has begun.
Please be aware that parts of the field may not be completely level. Take this into account when setting up equipment, and be aware of where the land may be less flat to avoid any injury to yourself or your dogs.
Any damage to toys or equipment must be mentioned after use and the cost of any damage will be your responsibility.
